back at camp

The Sonics headed back to training camp yesterday, inviting six players to join them. Denham Brown and Mike Wilks are not really new faces, as Brown was the Sonics second draft pick in June, and Wilks came aboard at the trade deadline last season. This leaves a few others: Kenny Adeleke (Hartford ’06) will join up as a forward after an impressive college career. Desmon Farmer (USC ’04) spent two training camps with the Pacers but never made the cut at guard or forward. Last season he played for the Tulsa 66ers, laying down 42.8% of his 3-point attempts. Milt Palacio spent last year with the Utah Jazz, and he’ll be gunning for third point-guard on the roster. Kareem Rush, a 2002 first-round pick, has backed up the Lakers’ Kobe Bryant for the past two years.
