SuperSonics find new coach

The search is over and the Seattle SuperSonics have hired P.J. Carlesimo as their new head coach. This marks his first head coaching gig since 1999 when he was fired by the Golden State Warriors, and with a roster full of young players, he has his work cut out for him. I'm sure he'll consider it a success if he doesn't get choked!

Livingston Signs with Sonics

Sonics GM Rick Sund announced that the team has inked with Randy Livingston for the rest of the season. Livingston has played in 199 NBA games with nine different teams.

Sonics drop one to Houston

The Sonics lost 95-90 last night, losing Earl Watson to a sprained ankle in the first quarter - Mike Wilks replaced him and considering the circumstances, performed like a champ. In other news, we're getting closer to seeing a deal for land for the King County Events Center - nothing's official yet, so stay tuned.
